NX-OSv is a reference platform for an implementation of the Cisco Nexus operating system, based on the Nexus 7000-series platforms, running as a full virtual machine on a hypervisor.
NX-OSv supports up to 28 Gigabit Ethernet interface.
NX-OSv provides partial layer-3 control-plane and data-plane functionality. Layer-2 functionality is not supported.
This image is provided 'as-is'. There is no support for this image from Cisco's Technical Advisory center. This image is not for use in a production environment and is considered to be a simulator for the Nexus 7000-series and is not an emulator as the software data-plane does not emulate the Nexus 7000-series forwarding hardware.
